PERFECT JEANS X SHOPIFY

Shopify collaborates with Perfect Jeans. Shopify has made significant strides in CO2 removal through their Sustainability Fund by partnering with a variety of companies across different sectors to combat climate change. Their partnerships include a range of innovative companies focusing on direct air capture, reforestation using drones, mineralization processes, low-CO2 concrete products, soil improvement technologies, CO2 storage solutions, and the conversion of CO2 into sustainable fuels. These efforts are part of Shopify's broader mission to support and scale up CO2 removal technologies, with a commitment that has reached $32 million. The companies Shopify has partnered with for these initiatives include Arbor, Captura, Carbon To Stone, Cella, CREW, Inplanet, Noya, Sustaera, DroneSeed, Carbin Minerals, CarbonBuilt, Loam, 44.01, Twelve, and Remora.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Every little effort makes a difference. Take good care of your clothes and make sure you shop at stores that focus on sustainability. Remember that price and quality often go hand in hand. If you buy a cheap pair of jeans, they usually don't last as long as the more expensive ones do. This results in you having to buy clothes more often, and thus more clothes being produced, which harms the environment. Make sure to only wash your clothes when necessary. Wash at low temperatures when possible and make sure to hang them up instead of using the dryer. Remember to donate your clothes for recycling.

ANIMAL WELFARE

We believe it is unacceptable to harm animals to produce clothing, and we have therefore chosen that none of our clothes should be made of wool, animal skin, leather, down, feathers, or fur. The label you see on the back of our jeans is therefore made of high-quality PU leather. It is very similar to real leather except that the material will not age in the same way leather does. You will always be able to read on each product page what the product is made of.

CO2 EMISSIONS

We have a strong focus on CO2 emissions through delivery, energy consumption, packaging, and not least waste. In our packages, you will experience that there are only the most necessary things included. For the same reason, you will have to print your return label if you wish to return or exchange. At Perfect Jeans, we have a very low return rate, which means that about 80% of the return labels we would otherwise send out would have been wasted. For the same reason, we also encourage you to reuse the shipping bag for returns. At Perfect Jeans, we pull statistics from the system before launching a new collection. This helps to avoid waste and ensure that no more is produced than necessary. Perfect Jeans are made to be washed at 30 degrees and then air-dried.

FASHION THAT LASTS

During the development of Perfect Jeans, we have focused on creating high-quality products that maintain their high quality in both material and color even after prolonged use. The very first product we launched was the black jeans. A common problem with black jeans is that they actually don't get to stay in the wardrobe for very long, as they quickly become gray and dull after a few washes. We worked hard for a whole year to solve this problem and were finally able to launch the first Perfect Jeans. This means that you can wear clothes that continue to look good while saving money on not having to buy new ones. We make clothes so that they look good, last longer, and contribute to you having fantastic comfort in everyday life while benefiting the environment. Who said win-win?
