Find the perfect length

Jeans and trouser sizes can often be difficult to navigate, but we’re here to help you find a pair of jeans in the perfect length for you.

The Right Fit

When choosing the length of your jeans, there’s one thing to consider – the fit. At Perfect Jeans, for instance, we don’t offer cropped jeans, but you do have the option to choose a slightly shorter length. We also don’t have a tall line, as all our jeans go up to length 38. If you prefer long jeans that touch the floor, no matter your choice of shoes, you can simply go up a length. So, the first step is to decide how you want your jeans to fit. Once you’ve figured that out, it’s time to take your measurements!

As shown above, our model Ditte is wearing three different lengths of our Perfect Jeans - Regular - Marguerites. For reference, Ditte is 163 cm tall.

  • Normal Fit: Ditte’s usual size is length 30, as seen on the far right. As shown in the image, the jeans end exactly where her sneakers begin. This length is perfect for most types of shoes.

  • Ankle Length: If you prefer ankle-length jeans, we recommend going one size shorter. In this case, that would be length 28. This ensures the jeans end just above your ankle, leaving your socks visible beneath the hem.

  • Cropped Jeans: If you like the look of cropped jeans, we recommend going two sizes shorter. On the far left, you can see our model wearing length 26. This creates a look that’s perfect for warmer days and sandals.

  • Modern Baggy Look: If you prefer a relaxed, modern baggy look that’s been trending lately, you can go for a length longer than your usual. This way, the jeans will drape over your laces and extend further down the back of your heel.

Measuring

Once you’ve chosen your desired fit, it’s time to measure, if you don’t already know your length in Perfect Jeans. To measure, start with a tape measure at the crotch and follow down along the inside of your leg. For your regular size, measure all the way to the ankle.

If you want your jeans in a different length, simply stop measuring where you’d like them to end.

After measuring, you can find your ideal length by checking our women’s size guide or men’s size guide.

If you don’t know your waist size, we also recommend measuring it.  We can almost guarantee that we have the perfect size for you. Our jeans come in a total of 77 different size combinations, covering 11 sizes and 7 lengths, so you can mix and match to find your perfect fit. You can choose from sizes 3XS, 2XS, XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, and 5XL, combined with lengths 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, and 38.
